Pricing Policy

Pricing Policy for Customers in Developing Countries

Residents of developing and emerging countries (regions A & B) will be offered discounted or complimentary access to online data services, Finance & Development magazine, e-newsletters, and electronic downloadable formats of IMF products (where available) during the checkout process. Prices will still be charged for other publication formats. Customers must register as a user through the IMF e-Bookstore and have a corresponding address in a developing country (please use this table to determine the discount that applies to your order). This policy does not apply to customers in developing countries who are employees of corporations headquartered in developed countries.

Pricing Policy for Online Data Services

Residents of developing and emerging countries (regions A & B) will be offered a lower price for access to online data services. The prices listed on our Web site are before any price reductions. When you order online, the system will show your reduced price during the checkout process, in the order review screen, before you place your order. Please use this table to determine the discount that applies to your order.

Multiple-user licenses are available for institutions. Please consult our online services pricing matrix to view multiple-user pricing options and licensing requirements for institutional access. If you have any questions about pricing of online services or multiple-user licenses, please contact our Customer Services department.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping and handling charges are applied to all priced publications and CD-ROM products to offset the actual costs incurred by the IMF. Electronic versions of publications offered in PDF format, e-newsletters, and online services do not incur shipping and handling charges. You can find details of the shipping charges here.

Promotional Offers

The IMF may offer promotional discounts or products from time to time. These are normally communicated through promotional literature sent directly to customers by mail or e-mail or announced on our IMF e-Bookstore Web pages. To activate a promotional offer customers should enter their promotion code in the box presented during the checkout process.
